In Science, we have been learning about the circulatory system and how our bodies change during exercise.
Miss Ayrton took us for a Science/PE lesson on Tuesday where we completed a short exercise routine and discussed how our heart rate was changing when we went from light to moderate intensity exercise.
From this lesson, we were then given the task to get into role as the teacher and plan an exercise routine for a group of children in another year group. We had to think about the level of exercise, which year group we would target and also which exercises we would teach.
We got into pairs and planned our lesson, here are some of our lesson plans. As you can see, we had to use a planning format our teachers use and structure our lesson into three areas.
Try one of our lesson plans as a mini work out for your day. They should last 15 minutes and get your heart rate up! Comment below and let us know what you think of our work.
